Fees & Services
In Ontario, Private Psychotherapy is not covered by OHIP. We value access to psychotherapy and believe that affordable hourly rates help our clients to access our services.
Payment for Services
We request that you provide a credit card number when you set up your EMR account, which you can use to pay for services. However, if you would prefer to keep your credit card on file and pay for services by e-transfer, please advise us prior to, or during your appointment and we will send an invoice. Receipts will be provided, following payment. Payment is due upon the completion of your appointment. If you need to make alternate payment arrangements please let us know. You will never be billed for services in advance.

We do not submit directly to insurance companies at this time. We are happy to provide you with a receipt that you can submit. Extended Health Benefits can differ greatly and we encourage you to confirm coverage with your insurance provider. Psychotherapy fees can be submitted as a medical expense on income tax. There is no tax billed on Psychotherapy.

Initial Appointment (90 min) - $188
Follow Up Appointments (60 min) - $125

These are based on an hourly rate of $125/hour. My hourly rate covers the time we spend together in your appointment, plus any preparation, documentation, scheduling changes, email, etc. Hourly rates also reflect the additional, but necessary, business costs of providing private psychotherapy services in Ontario.
